Hey Carpool Crew, I’m Pastor Justin, and I’m so glad you’re here as we continue our Advent journey! 🌟 Yesterday, we talked about how God promised to send a Savior — today, we learn where that Savior would be born.
Our verse is Micah 5:2 (CSB): “But you, Bethlehem... out of you will come one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origin is from ancient times, from eternity.”
Bethlehem wasn’t a big or famous city, but that’s exactly where God chose for Jesus to be born. Why? Because God loves to use small things to do incredible things.
If Jesus were sitting beside you, I think He’d say, “I love starting with small things — like you. What seems little can change the world when I’m part of it.”
So today, don’t overlook the small stuff — a kind word, a helping hand, or even a prayer can make a big difference. God isn’t looking for perfection; He’s looking for hearts that are ready to say yes. ❤️
Family question: What’s one small way you could show God’s love to someone else today?
